I came across this quote this morning in my daily search for a quote of the day for my msn. Unlike so many generic quotes I felt it spoke it me. Hence it was my quote of the day! DUH!

I just liked the idea of courage, because it really is the one who kisses first who shows that. Liking someone is always such a gamble, will they like you? How will it end? Most of us will avoid everything, including the other person, to not have to find out the answers to those questions. It is strange but sometimes the not knowing is better, there is a safety in still being able to like them, before they have broken your heart.

Then there are those who will brazenly tell people their feelings with no thoughts as to how the other will respond, possibly not even caring how the other person feels. This may not be courage, it maybe be stupidity or naivety. It is perplexing to me none the less, as one who definitely will avoid such things indefinitely if possible.

Anyway, that is my thought for the day. Here is to those who love without reservation and those who maybe need the encouragement. :)
